Problem
How to make two hosts access the same storage box?

Solution
Setting up two HOSTs to access the DAS box.

Please follow the following steps.

Make two volumes on the DAS box.

Assign the volume 1 to be seen by Ch0 ( host A) and Voulme 2 to be seen by Ch1 (host B).

Then mount on respective hosts.

FAQ

Question: If I connect a HOST B to SCSI B would I be able to access/mount the same volume at the same time while Host A is accessing it.

Answers: No, you can not. Unless you put a CFS(cluster-file-system) software on the Host-A computer and the Host-B computer. OS in general will prevent you from doing that, you most likely will get an error message like: file sharing violation. the CFS installed on each computers will do the file-lock/unlock arbitration by themselves.
Tiger Technology is such a CFS company, they have a sales office in Canada.

Question: If nothing is on HOST B do I need to terminate it.
Answers: no, you do not have to.

Question: If HOST B cannot access the same volume at the same time as HOST A is accessing it, Can I make two volumes on the RAID box and have one volume access by HOST A and other by HOST B at the same time.

Answers: Yes. when you create the volume, you can assign the volume to be seen by Ch0( host A) or Ch1 (host B), or Ch0 & 1 for Clustering (Clustering or using CFS)
